La Apertura estuvo a cargo de Tatiana Carsen, como integrante del GESBI.

Tatiana María Carsen. Es argentina; licenciada en Bibliotecología y Documentación, egresada de la Universidad del Museo Social Argentino. Es maestrando de la Maestría de Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad de la Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Argentina). Ha desarrollado su actividad profesional, desde 1983, en forma ininterrumpida en las siguientes instituciones argentinas: Biblioteca del INDEC (Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos); CONICET (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas); en la Fundación Bariloche/Instituto de Economía Energética; en la ANLIS (Administración Nacional de Laboratorios e Institutos de Salud) y, en la actualidad, en el CAICYT/CONICET (Centro Argentino de Información Científica y Tecnológica). Ha desarrollado actividad docente en la Universidad Nacional del Comahue y en diversos cursos de capacitación. Ha presentado contribuciones en congresos y reuniones profesionales. Es miembro del GESBI (Grupo de Estudios Sociales en Bibliotecología y Documentación). Ha integrado el Comité Organizador del Foro Social de Información Documentación y Bibliotecas de los años 2004 y 2006.
